Fall is by far one of my favorite seasons to style. Layers, knits and booties galore, there is so much to love about styling the fall season. This season, the trends are as varied as they get with a wide range of prints, patterns and colors. In this post, I am sharing 5 trends to try this fall that will have you styled and on-trend this season. Whether you’re an edgy chick, classic cutie or a boho beauty, there is a trend for each and every one of you.

Certainly a trend I never thought I’d wear but have grown to love is camo prints. When the print started rolling out near the end of the summer months, I told myself I’d never jump on this trend, that is, until it grew on me. Came prints are great for the girl who loves trying new trends and adding a little bit of an edgy touch to a look. Some of my favorite came styles are trench jackets, basic tees and moto leggings with the cam print.
For an edgy everyday style, pair a camo tee with your favorite pair of distressed jeans, layer with a leather jacket and finish off the look with mules or fashion sneakers.

If you classify yourself to be an edgy girl but maybe camo prints aren’t really your thing, consider snakeskin as your next go-to. Snakeskin prints are showing up in stores near and far and are making a comeback for trend setters everywhere. Snakeskin is another unique way of adding an edgy flair to your neutral outfits and it makes a great option for a night out as well.
I’ve been wearing these snakeskin booties non-stop this fall and love styling them with everything from jeans and skirts to dresses and leather pants. For me, the booties are the perfect piece to play around with while getting used to the trend.

This season, it’s all about getting wild with prints and leopard is by far one of the most popular prints. From booties and belts to cardigans and jackets, this print comes in every style, shape and form and can easily be styled with your favorite looks to add an extra pop.
Some of my favorite ways to style the leopard print is by adding a leopard clutch or pair of shoes to a neutral outfit for a final touch. I wear these leopard print heels all the time since they give that little extra flair to my favorite looks.

Plaid was a big hit last season and has returned once again for fall 2018 and is still as good as can be. If you haven’t already found yourself a plaid blazer, I suggest this as your next fashion staple as the trendy plaid blazer can be styled a variety of different ways. For a casual look, pair a plaid blazer with distressed boyfriend jeans, ankle booties and a graphic tee for an edgy style or layer the blazer over a dress and thigh high boots for a chic look.

Taking it back to the 90’s, color blocking has reappeared and is all over the streets (& Pinterest, too). If you’re into simple, casual styles then this trend is one for you. Most often found in the sweater & tee department, this trend can easily be thrown on with a pair of jeans and booties (or mules) for a cute and comfy everyday style.
If you’re feeling extra trendy, style a color block sweater or tee underneath an overall dress/jumper for the ultimate throwback look.
