Transitioning into Spring is no easy task, especially here in Minnesota. Dodging the puddles of muddy slush, trudging through snow banks left and right and playing the never-ending guessing game of whether or not it’s going to snow makes dressing for the season seem near impossible. While I want to jump right on in with the spring trends and wear all the pretty pastel ruffle dresses, I think I may get a few odd looks when we just had another snow storm two days ago…
Instead, I am transitioning into spring by adding statement pieces to my typically neutral wardrobe, and I’ve started with these metallic loafers courtesy of Vionic. It’s easy to want to stick to the all-black-everything when the weather is far from satisfying, but even just adding the pop of metallic gives a happy vibe.
In this look I paired these metallic loafers with my all-time favorite trench coat from Urban Violet, a simple graphic tee (a trend I’m loving!) and a pair of frayed hem denim jeans creating a casual day-to-day style that’s perfect for the awkward transition into Spring.
One thing might I mention, too, is that these loafers are SUPER comfortable. Most flat styles don’t give your foot much support, nor your arch, but these are an exception. Vionic is known for their comfort and chic style, and it’s no doubt as to why. I’m not kidding you guys, these shoes rock. You can shop this exact style right here!
Here’s to wishing you all a fantastic week! I know I’m already counting down the hours (… and maybe minutes) until the weekend, can it be Friday yet?!
Thanks for stopping by!
