I can’t even begin to tell you how relieved I am to be done with finals. This semester was by far my most challenging semester of all trying to juggle the load of classes, two jobs, sorority life, the blog, social life and not to mention keeping up with healthy habits! The constant schedule is definitely something I’ve learned to adapt to, but boy-oh-boy am I happy to have a break and be getting back into the routine of fitting in daily workouts.
Nothing kick starts my day better than a good sweat, besides, they say working out in the morning tends to lead to healthier choices throughout the day – a win-win, if you ask me.
Today’s workout consisted of a solid 45 minutes of cardio, which is something I always like to start my workouts off with, and finished with a killer shoulder + ab workout courtesy of Michelle at Elite Fitness.
As I mentioned, this semester was crazy busy and my workouts often hit the back burner a little more often than I’d prefer, but this shoulder + ab workout definitely hit all the spots I’d been missing and needless to say, I felt it the next day!

Seated shoulder press: 3 x 15
90 degree press: 3 x 15
Incline chest press: 3 x 15
