As the year is coming to a close, it’s beginning to reach the point where people are either making or breaking their fitness and health goals. While it’s easy to get caught up in the sweets and treats of the festivities, it’s important to stay focused on your goals and keep consistent with not only your workouts, but your eating habits too.
Luckily for me, partnering with Elite Fitness has given me access to all of the tools I need to stay healthy, happy and fit through the holidays through personal training and nutrition guidelines.
Over the course of the past few months I’ve been working, weights in hand, with Michelle and Jason at Elite to strive towards a healthier, yet still maintainable, lifestyle.
We’ve been training once a week with a 50 minute session, that varies from week to week. But no matter what, you can expect a top of the notch workout that is packed full with strengthening circuits that really get your muscles moving.
My experience thus far training at Elite has been fantastic, and I think a lot of that is credited to the fact that it is just different. It’s not your average big-box gym with hundreds of memberships, dirty equipment, “meatheads” grunting and slamming weights, but rather a fresh, modern space with high-end equipment, where it’s easy to want to go in and get your workout done. But alongside that, training with Michelle and Jason takes it to another level.
I am always excited going into my weekly training sessions with these two at Elite because I know that every week is going to be different. It’s not going in once a week and doing the same arm workout just because it’s Monday, or skipping cardio because it’s leg day. They’re extremely good at preparing workouts that have a mix of motion and targeting spots that are frequently missed when you’re on your own, or perhaps just doing the move wrong.
But by training at Elite, you have the opportunity to go beyond just fitness by narrowing in on your nutritional goals as well. Michelle has guided me through the do’s and don’ts of the grocery store, providing a grocery list of top-rated items as well as advised me on how I can make simple changes in my diet to better my overall health, especially when it comes to protein, because being a vegetarian, I definitely don’t always meet my standards.
I could go on and on about the benefits of training at Elite and continue to share my experience, but in order for you to truly understand, I highly encourage you to try the services at Elite for yourself and schedule a session with Michelle and Jason, or even just visit the gym for that matter and see what it’s all about!
