Some exciting news for you today as I am thrilled to announce a new partnership with Elite Fitness!
Over the past few weeks I’ve been having private training sessions with Michelle and Jason, owners of Elite, and needless to say, they’ve been kicking my butt. I’ve always had a passion for staying fit and have considered myself to be in pretty good shape overall (or so I thought) but it wasn’t until this partnership that I’ve really begun to understand what it really means to be healthy.
Being healthy isn’t just about showing up to the gym everyday and hopping on the elliptical for a cardio sesh or pumping some iron for your daily 30. It’s about consistency, challenge and devotion to adopting a lifestyle that is healthy in all aspects, including what goes on in the kitchen.
We’ve all heard the saying “abs are made in the kitchen” and it couldn’t be more true. I use myself as an example. I am pretty consistent when it comes to working out on the daily, which is great, but if my nutrition were better, heck – maybe I would actually feel bikini ready each time summer sneaks up! However, with the help of Michelle and her in depth knowledge of nutrition, she has directed me to ways that I can incorporate a healthier, more nutritious diet into my busy college lifestyle and I’m excited to see the difference that making simple swaps can have on my wellness goals.
Everytime I walk into Elite I feel comfortable, welcomed, and accepted. Factors that aren’t always easy to find in a gym. I cannot tell you the number of times I’ve gone to a big chain gym determined to get a good weight workout in only to shy away because of the “meat heads” lurking high and low. Going to the gym can be intimidating. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m guilty of letting my own body suffer due to my lack of self confidence and feeling like I can’t get in the way of others. But what I’ve recently started telling myself is, “who cares?” Everyone pays the same price for a membership and we owe it to ourselves to push for the workout we deserve.
But part of what I love about Elite is I never have to worry about an overly crowded gym, dirty equipment or rude employees. I’m not exaggerating when I say that Elite takes fitness to a whole new level. A level of enjoyment and satisfaction that makes going to the gym fun, yes… fun!
Working out at Elite is like working out with your best friend. You have Michelle and Jason there to greet you, pushing you to your limits and holding you accountable. It’s an experience you really can’t get at a “big box” gym and it’s one I highly recommend.
Whether you’re into building your strength, pushing your limits with cardio, stretching it out with yoga or seeking nutritional guidance, Elite Fitness can provide everything you need to be well on your way to achieving the body of your dreams.
You guys, I mean it… stay tuned for some awesome new content coming this fall + winter covering a new area I’ve begun to dip my toes into and that is all things Health & Fitness. With the holiday season fast approaching and the new year right around the corner, there is no better time than now to set and accomplish some goals.
Once again, a huge thank you to Elite Fitness for partnering with me to bring you guys some killer workouts, nutrition tips and one grand giveaway coming soon!
