My oh my, what a gloomy day it is today! The rain is continuously off and on and the skies are deeply grey, but hey, what better excuse to cozy up with a cup of coffee and share with you a fabulous style I’m totally crushing on, and that is casual jumpsuits + rustic denim.
Since returning from Europe, I’ve been on the hunt for trendy fall pieces to spice up my wardrobe before heading back to campus. All summer long I’d been crushing on Onyx & Pearl and just dying to check it out once I returned home. Thus, my first weekend back in the States, I made a special stop in Fargo on my way home from the cabin and had my first Onyx & Pearl experience.
Let me tell you, this store is just too cute to pass up, I mean seriously. Everything from their atmopshere, decor, high ceilings, vintage wallpaper, and obviously… their clothing is worth drooling over. I was immediately drawn to this rustic denim jacket for multiple reasons, those being it’s color, length, frayed hems, and fit. I’m probably going to live in this denim throughout fall, I simply love this jacket.
While this jacket will pair nicely with almost 100% if my wardrobe, I decided to debut the piece with this fun jumper I found at Urban Violet early on this summer before jet setting off. As you’ve probably been seeing all summer long, gingham is a major trend. This jumper is such a unique piece to have as it’s casual and flirty, perfectly worn on an afternoon date or trip to the farmers market. It’s lightweight and soooo comfy. A win win in every category.
Last but not least, for those of you who have been keeping up with me on instagram (@blondeblissblog) you already know my obsession with woven hats. They’re my current craze! I kid you not, they go with everything and take a simple look to casual chic with just the toss of a hat (not to mention hide those bad hair days.) If you’ve not yet fallen in love with woven hats, it’s not too late, I can already tell woven wool hats will once again be a major hit this fall + winter season. All the more reason to fall head over heels for them now!
How it’s already August 26th? I have no idea, but it’s not all bad when fall is right around the corner. What are you most excited about for the upcoming season? For me, it’s two words… pumpkin everything.
