Other than the years in which I was 5 and 6 years old, there hasn’t been any other time in my life that I have felt like a princess other than during this shoot at Kengsington palace. Twirling around in this pretty pink satin dress surrounded by the lush English countryside and a gorgeous palace, it’s okay for one to at least pretend, right?
The color palette this season has got me {blushing} for all things rosé (& baby blue, you too). For whatever reason the pastel hues have carried their way into summer and I, for one, am certainly not complaining, the more reason to wear this pretty colors the merrier!
Worn both spring and winter and every season in between, these colors are the best way to make the most out of your wardrobe – right up next to B&W of course.
I’ve never been one to wear much pink, as girly as I consider myself to be. Pink tends to be uber vibrant and loud, yet this rosé hue is just right. It’s subtle enough to be worn on the daily yet still bright enough to be worn as a statement. This dress in particular was a must have for my trip to Europe because it is so comfy and lightweight. While the dress itself is rather simple, the asymmetrical pleat adds just enough detail to make this outfit simple and sleek.
The color alone is something to drool over, yet another reason I adore this dress is for its versatility. Easily worn under a chunky knit sweater with sneakers, tossed on over a pair of distressed denim or crisp white jeans or even dressed up with a pair of strappy heels for fancier occasions, this piece really is the go to for all seasons + occasions.
If this piece is not reason enough to love this color scheme, than I don’t know what is! Cheers to pastel hues and saying “Yes Way” to Rosé!
