This past week has been absolutely gorgeous with the warm weather and cheery mood throughout the city and campus. It feels as though spring has sprung but this upcoming (possible) storm on Friday has got me a bit worried since you simply can’t put away your peep toe wedges and pretty pinks once you’ve already taken them out again, am I right?
I’m a big fan of this warm weather as it allows for lightweight coats, fun bright colors and easing into the idea of bearing just a little bit more skin with cute dresses and skirts.
The jacket you’re seeing today is one of my absolute favorites, yet I never know where or how the heck I am going to wear it. It’s such a bold piece that requires you to plan your entire outfit around it so no matter what it ends up being the statement piece regardless of how you style everything else. But despite the fashion struggle, I still love it for its uniqueness and comfort.
Jackets, such as this lightweight wool moto, are the perfect transitional pieces when the weather is warm but still a little questionable. Saying goodbye to winter bulk is a breeze when you’ve got these fun pieces awaiting you in your spring wardrobe and the best part about it? These same jackets can be worn in the fall season too, depending on the color and way in which the piece is styled, but lets not get ahead of ourselves!
With spring on my mind, a fresh new do (coming soon!) and some upcoming trips the nice weather has got me feeling the happy hues of warmer weather.
